What customers say

Product worked as expected. Sprayed driveway a few hours before snowstorm, using a powershovel it did not bog down, using a regular shovel was like powder.

Item as described, used ice melt before and this brand does the job just as those other brands at a lower cost. Love the bucket container versus what other manufacturers do such as the box container with a bag inside.

First used last year, this is the second contained I’ve purchased, 2.5 Gal. lasted one winter season. It is good for light snow and will be expensive if covering a large area, but cheaper than paying someone to shovel.

Not much to say about a product that does what it claims – easy to spray on and has effects that last as long as claimed. We’re having a bit more snow and freezing temperatures here in Colorado in April than average – as an example it’s noon where I live as I write this and we’re up to 29 degrees F but we’re supposed to get up to 34 today. But since receiving this product about a month ago and spraying by the garage and household entrance path on my North-facing house I’ve noticed that even after 10 days from each spraying you can still see the effect after a snowstorm rolls through, with the ice in front of the garage doors melting away more quickly than with no treatment at all – and by spraying the effect spreads much more evenly than when using rock salt or other ice melt pellet products, the effects of which only last a couple of days. Overall – very practical and effective solution. And it appears economical in that I have enough to last a few winters. Recommended it along with one of those handpump 1 gallon garden sprayers to apply it.

Here are common themes we consistently hear from facility teams, municipalities, and homeowners:

  • Easier snow and ice removal after pre-treating; packed snow doesn’t bond as hard to pavement.
  • Fewer slip hazards on walkways and entries when applied ahead of a storm.
  • Pet-safe and eco-friendly messaging aligns with campus and residential needs.
  • Notably less corrosive than rock salt (up to 70% less, per our product guidance), which supports concrete, vehicles, and equipment care.
  • Works with simple tools like handheld sprayers or carts for fast application.

Curious how it achieves those outcomes? See the science in How Liquid Ice Melt Works.

How to evaluate results

  • Track slip incidents before and after pre-treating to quantify improvement.
  • Compare material use and cleanup time versus rock salt on similar storms.
  • Inspect surfaces and equipment for corrosion over the season.
  • Document timing (pre-treat vs. post-application) to optimize your playbook.
